About

fast-agent is a CLI-first tool for interacting with LLMs, for coding, development, evaluation and workflows. Agents and prompts are defined in simple files, and the interactive terminal runs shell commands, connects to MCP servers with /connect and manages skills with /skills. The README says it supports Anthropic, OpenAI and Google natively and Azure, Ollama, DeepSeek and others through TensorZero. Agents can request human input during a task, and responses stream to the terminal.
