  • gmail_download_latest_matching

    Find the most recent thread matching the query and download its attachments. Args: query: Gmail search syntax. dest_dir: Local directory. Defaults to $GMAIL_MCP_DEFAULT_DEST_DIR or ~/Downloads. extensions: Optional file-extension filter. Returns: JSON {matched: thread-summary | null, saved: [files]}.

  • gmail_download_thread_attachments

    Download every attachment from a Gmail thread to disk. Args: thread_id: Gmail thread ID (obtain from gmail_search). dest_dir: Local directory to save into. Created if missing. '~' is expanded. If omitted, uses $GMAIL_MCP_DEFAULT_DEST_DIR or ~/Downloads. extensions: Optional file-extension filter (case-insensitive), e.g. ['.pdf', '.docx']. Returns: JSON array of saved files with {path, size_bytes, mime_type, original_filename, from_, subject, date}.

  • gmail_search

    Search Gmail threads. Returns thread summaries with attachment filenames as JSON. Args: query: Gmail search syntax (e.g. 'has:attachment newer_than:7d from:hr@example.com'). Supports all Gmail operators: from:, to:, subject:, has:attachment, newer_than:, older_than:, filename:, label:, in:, etc. max_results: Max threads to return. Clamped to [1, 50]. Default 10. Returns: JSON array of {thread_id, subject, sender, date, snippet, message_count, attachment_count, attachment_filenames}. Pass thread_id to gmail_download_thread_attachments to fetch bytes.
