Audit the vault for hygiene issues: orphans, dangling links, untagged notes, and duplicate titles
delete_notecan change or delete data
Delete a note from the vault. By default it moves the note to .obsidian-mcp/trash (recoverable); pass permanent=true to hard-delete instead. Requires confirm to match path exactly as a safety guard, regardless of permanent.
get_backlinksread-only
Find all notes in the vault that link to the specified note.
get_frontmatterread-only
Read the YAML frontmatter of a note. Returns key-value pairs and the note body.

Apply a heading-anchored patch to a note. Insert content before or after a heading, or replace the heading's body.
