  • create_draft_passportCreate a draft passport

Creates a **draft** passport in the user's own TracePass account from facts they stated. Use it whenever the user asks to create a passport, including "create and publish": create the draft, then say that publishing is done by the user in TracePass. It never publishes. If the result asks for an identifier, ask the user; never invent one. Use only what this tool returns: add no facts, dates or articles of your own, not even today's date. Keep every citation and the disclaimer line, and any "Planned, not law yet" or "being re-checked" label. Phrase answers about the product type, never as person…

  • delete_profileDelete all stored company factscan change or delete data

Deletes every stored company fact. Use it only when the user explicitly asks to delete their profile. This is a separate tool so the assistant asks for confirmation before running it. Use only what this tool returns: add no facts, dates or articles of your own, not even today's date. Keep every citation and the disclaimer line, and any "Planned, not law yet" or "being re-checked" label. Phrase answers about the product type, never as personal duties ("you must"). Never rank or recommend vendors. Never call this advice or yourself a consultant. If the result is not_covered, say so and point to …

  • get_profileRead stored company factsread-only

Shows the company facts the assistant has stored (categories, markets, role, own-brand flag, etc.) and when they were last updated. If the result is not_covered, say so and point to the article given.

  • get_requestRead the data requestread-only

Start here. Returns who is asking, for which product, and every field requested: its meaning, data type, unit, allowed options, expected format and the EU law it comes from (with the quoted provision). Also returns the answers already submitted and, once reviewed, the outcome. Read-only.

  • get_review_statusCheck the review outcomeread-only

Whether the requester has reviewed the answers yet, the outcome, which fields they accepted and their note. Review has no deadline; linkExpiresAt is when this connection stops working. Read-only.

  • get_upload_commandGet a command to upload a fileread-only

The best way to attach a supporting document if you can run shell commands: returns a curl command that uploads the file straight from disk, and prints a documentId to cite in submit_answers. Accepts PDF, Office files, CSV and images (PNG, JPEG, WebP). If you cannot run commands, cite a public URL or a note as evidence instead, or use upload_evidence for a very small file.

  • registry_guidanceEU DPP Registry guidanceread-only

Explains the EU DPP Registry and the technical side: registration in the registry, identifiers, QR and data carriers, data formats (JSON, HTML, data models) and standards, and where passport data is kept. Each point carries the date of its source. For who owes, keeps or may hand off a passport, use scope_check. Use only what this tool returns: add no facts, dates or articles of your own, not even today's date. Keep every citation and the disclaimer line, and any "Planned, not law yet" or "being re-checked" label. Phrase answers about the product type, never as personal duties ("you must"). Nev…

  • report_answerReport a wrong or unclear answer

Use it when the user says an answer was wrong or unclear. Pass their words and the `ruleIds` of the answer. The report goes to a review queue. If the result is not_covered, say so and point to the article given.

  • required_fieldsList required passport fieldsread-only

Lists the data a passport must contain for a product category, with the article requiring each field, who may see it, how often it changes, and whether it usually comes from the maker or a supplier. Call it without `group` for a summary (counts by group), then with a `group` for the fields. Use only what this tool returns: add no facts, dates or articles of your own, not even today's date. Keep every citation and the disclaimer line, and any "Planned, not law yet" or "being re-checked" label. Phrase answers about the product type, never as personal duties ("you must"). Never rank or recommend …

  • scope_checkCheck if a product needs a passportread-only

Checks whether EU law requires a Digital Product Passport for a type of product, from when, and what the law requires of each role. Use it for "do I need a passport", "from when", "who is responsible", whether that responsibility can be handed to another company, who keeps and stores the passport and whether it must stay available after the company ceases, whether there is one passport per item, batch or model, and for repurposing, remanufacturing, waste or a battery inside another product. Pass whatever facts the user gave; if the result is needs_input, ask the user its questions in plain wor…

  • submit_answersSubmit answers for review

Send answers to the requester. They go to a human review, not straight into the product passport. Only requested fields are stored. You may call it again until the requester reviews it: each call merges with the earlier answers (a field sent again replaces its value; fields left out keep theirs). An answer cannot be withdrawn, only changed. Submit only values found in the supplier's own records or documents, never estimates or guesses; leave a field out when you do not know it. Confirm with the user before submitting, because the answers are sent to another company.

  • tracepass_epcisTracePass EPCIS 2.0

GS1 EPCIS 2.0 supply-chain events. `export`, `capture`, `capture_job` and `query` are on every plan, Free included. Captured events count against the plan's event allowance (10 a month on Free); over it, `capture` returns an overage or hard-block message. Actions (pass via `action`, with `args`): - export — args: { id }. Export a passport's events as an EPCIS 2.0 JSON-LD document. Read-only. - export_by_serial — args: { serial, gtin? }. Same as export, addressed by your own serial. A serial is unique only WITHIN a GTIN — if it isn't unique in your account the call returns 409 ambiguous_serial…

  • tracepass_passport_fieldsTracePass passport fieldscan change or delete data

Update field values on a Digital Product Passport. Every change is recorded in the passport's audit trail with the credential that made it (API key or connected app) and this MCP channel. `source` (optional) says where the value came from. Omit it, or pass "manual", when the user gave you the value or it comes from their own records: it is written with the user's rights (approved for an API key or an admin; sent to review for a connected app acting for an editor). Pass "ai_suggested" when you found or inferred the value yourself (web research, reading a document): it lands in the dashboard re…

  • tracepass_passport_partiesTracePass passport partiescan change or delete data

Manage the economic-operator parties on a passport — manufacturer, importer, authorisedRepresentative, distributor, recycler, producerResponsibilityOrg. Each party carries a legal name and at least one identifier. Identifier rules (EN 18219 §6.2–6.5): a party needs at least one of `gln`, `legacyOperatorId`, or `operatorIdentifier`. If both `gln` and `operatorIdentifier` (scheme gln) are provided they must agree — a mismatch returns 400. An operatorIdentifier of scheme gln also fills the top-level `gln` field; facilityIdentifier never does. Typed identifiers (operatorIdentifier / facilityIdent…

  • tracepass_productsTracePass productscan change or delete data

Manage the TracePass product catalogue. A product is the catalogue layer — one product can have many passports (one per serialised unit). Products are not billable on their own. Actions (pass via `action`, with `args`): - list — args: { page?, limit? (≤100), category?, status?, search? }. Read-only. - get — args: { id }. Read-only. - create — args: { name, model, category, description? }. `category` is one of: battery, textile, electronics, construction, steel, detergents, paints-coatings, packaging, furniture, tyres, jewelry, toys, fmcg. - update — args: { id, name?, model?, description? }; …

  • tracepass_scopeTracePass DPP scope checker

Check what EU law says for a product type matching the facts given: whether it needs a Digital Product Passport, from when, at which level, under which act and article, and the duties of each role. Also read the company's catalogue-wide scope report and trigger a catalogue refresh run. HARD RULES — always apply these to scope answers: - Answers state what the law says for product types matching the given facts. This is not legal advice; never write 'you must' — use product-type phrasing ('LMT batteries need a passport from 18 February 2027, Battery Regulation Art. 77(1)'). - Cite the article …

  • tracepass_templatesTracePass DPP templates (regulatory schemas)read-only

Discover the regulatory field schema for each DPP category — what a COMPLIANT passport must contain, per the governing EU regulation. Read-only reference data. Use this to advise on requirements before creating products/passports, and to gap-check a draft against the rules. Actions (pass via `action`, with `args`): - list — args: {}. Lists all 13 categories with their field count, required-field count, and governing regulation (name + number + effective/mandatory dates). - get — args: { category }. Full field schema for one category: every field's key, label, dataType, whether it is REQUIRED,…

  • update_profileSave or correct company factscan change or delete data

Saves or corrects company facts. Use it when the user states a lasting fact about their company (role, categories, markets, own-brand), or to save a `learnable` fact from a result. The update merges the given facts into the existing profile; it does not replace the whole profile. Ne…

  • upload_evidenceAttach a small supporting document inline

Upload one file sent inline as base64. Only for very small files (a few kilobytes): the whole file must be written out as base64 in the call, which is slow and error-prone for anything larger. Prefer get_upload_command if you can run commands, otherwise cite a URL or a note. Returns a documentId to cite in submit_answers.

  • validate_answersCheck answers without submittingread-only

Dry run. Reports which values would be stored, which keys were not requested (they are ignored), and which values do not fit the field's definition (wrong type, not an allowed option, out of range). Writes nothing. Use it before submit_answers.

  • what_changedWhat changed in EU passport lawread-only

Reports changes in EU passport law and standards for the user's categories since a date (default: since they last asked). Use it for "what's new" or "has X been adopted". Items marked "Planned, not law yet" are upcoming obligations, not yet in force. Never call this advice or yourse…
