Need help deploying Realtime Avatar?
Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.
Install
Works with Claude Code, Codex, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.
npx agentmarket install connector/theinfluencecompany-realtime-avatar
Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].
create_avatar_from_imageCreate an avatar from one still imageBuild an avatar from a SINGLE still image — the shortest path, and the one to reach for by default. The platform generates the resting loop she idles in and a starter motion library rendered against her rest pose; no footage and no clip URLs are involved. 'motionPrompt' directs the resting loop and is the ONLY chance to direct it — no endpoint re-generates a loop after creation. Returns while she is still 'preprocessing'; poll get_avatar.
create_avatar_from_videoCreate an avatar from a video (deprecated)DEPRECATED AND CLOSED — this answers 422 unless the tenant was already creating from video. Use create_avatar_from_image instead: one still, and the platform renders the loop and the motion library from it. Do not reach for this tool because an image is inconvenient to obtain; it will simply fail.
create_remote_assetRegister a file already on the internetPoint at a public URL and get an asset back without downloading it locally. Use this instead of upload_asset whenever the file is already hosted somewhere.
credit_balanceCredit balanceread-onlyCurrent balance and how much is reserved by in-flight calls.
get_avatarGet one avatarread-onlyFull detail for a single avatar, including its clip set and voice.
list_avatarsList avatarsread-onlyEvery avatar on this account, with the id you pass to startCall. Call this before writing code — avatar ids cannot be guessed. Callable means status 'ready' AND idleVideoStatus 'ready': the loop is attached. An avatar reads sourceKind 'video' once that happens, including the ones built from a single image — that is the normal end state, not a warning.
list_clipsList an avatar's clip libraryread-onlyThe declared clip library: every non-retired clip with its render status, plus the library revision (pass it to set_clip_library as expectedRevision), the pose anchor, default source, idle and event behavior, and eligibility. status is the render JOB, not serveability — a clip re-rendering keeps serving its previous take.
list_sessionsList billable sessionsread-onlyThe itemised bill: every session with when it ran, how long it was billable for, and what it cost. Billing is per SECOND — activeSeconds is real wall time, never rounded up to a minute. Pass endUserId to see one of your own users, which works only if the call was started with metadata.user_id.
set_clip_libraryDeclare an avatar's clip libraryDeclare the avatar's FULL desired clip library — a declaration, not a delta: unchanged clips are kept, new or changed ones are queued to render, omitted ones are retired. The 202 is acceptance, not readiness — poll list_clips until no row is queued or generating. Pass expectedRevision from list_clips so a concurrent writer surfaces as a 409 instead of a lost update. clips maps stable ids to sources; 'primary' is reserved — the avatar's stored source is the implicit rest state, weight 1, and the one clip that may repeat. idle.clips are variations on resting, drawn uniformly and never twice runn…
set_loopRe-direct the resting loopRe-generate the RESTING LOOP — the video she plays when nothing else is happening — from a new one-sentence description. This replaces the avatar's stored source, which is the implicit rest state her declared idle variations are weighted against. Accepted immediately (202) and rendered over minutes; she stays ready and keeps serving her previous loop the whole time, and the clip library is untouched. Bills one video generation per call, so do not send it speculatively.
start_callStart a call (SPENDS CREDITS)Mint a live session to verify an integration end to end. This starts a real call and bills for it by the second. maxSeconds is the cap and you should keep it small. Returns the connection payload, which a browser client relays UNTOUCHED.
upload_assetUpload a local fileUpload a file FROM THIS MACHINE'S DISK and get back a public URL usable as a clip or avatar source. Give an absolute path. Kind is inferred from the extension when you omit it. Does not spend credits. If the file is already on the internet, use create_remote_asset instead — it needs no local copy.
