  • create_template

    Create a new template from email HTML you authored. The HTML is stored as-is (HTML editor mode) — no server-side AI is invoked and no AI-generation or import meter is consumed; only the plan's template storage cap applies. Read the templated://guides/authoring-html resource first so the HTML is email-safe, and templated://brand-kit to match the account's brand.

  • duplicate_template

    Clone an existing template (name gets a "(Copy)" suffix). Counts toward the template storage cap.

  • export_html

    Export the stored send-ready HTML for a template (plus name and thumbnail URL) — e.g. to attach a preview to outreach or hand off to another system.

  • generate_image

    Generate an AI image via Templated's image pipeline and get back a hosted HTTPS URL to embed in template HTML (e.g. a hero image). UNLIKE template creation, this DOES consume the account's monthly AI image credits — it runs on Templated's image model. Paid plans only; free accounts get a plan-limit error. Use real photography or brand assets when the user has them; generate when they don't.

  • get_template

    Fetch a single template, including its stored content (HTML and/or editor state), name, status, and thumbnail.

  • list_templates

    List the templates in the connected Templated account (summaries only — use get_template for a template's content).

  • update_template

    Update an existing template's name, description, HTML content, or status ('draft' | 'exported'). Only the fields you pass are changed.
