Need help deploying Pulse8 AI Cortex Knowledge Vault?
Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.
Install
Works with Claude Code, Codex, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.
npx agentmarket install connector/synpulse8-opensource-pulse8-ai-cortex-knowledge-vault
Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

Tools (14)
Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].
vault_compileCompile unprocessed raw sources into wiki articles via LLM. Use *force* to recompile all sources regardless of enrichment status. Use *path* to limit compilation to a single raw file.
vault_contextBuild a context window: search, graph BFS expansion, ranked subgraph with contradictions. Set ``as_resource=True`` for large context windows — the full payload is stashed as a server-side MCP resource and the caller receives only a handle plus summary.
vault_explainExplain a note: summary, provenance, raw sources, and connections grouped by direction (links in / out, contradictions).
vault_feedbackSubmit user feedback. Saved under feedback/ with tags and links to related notes. Optional outcome label (useful / dead-end / corrected) records whether the retrieved knowledge held up.
vault_impactWalk everything downstream of a note: all notes linking to it directly or transitively. Use for change-impact analysis.
vault_ingestIngest a raw source. Accepts text via content or binary via content_base64.
vault_linkCreate, query, or delete typed edges in the knowledge graph.
vault_list_feedbacksList feedback notes in the vault (metadata only: path, preview, tags, related_paths).
vault_pathFind shortest paths between two notes over the typed graph. Every hop carries its edge type and lineage origin.
vault_readRead a note by path. Returns frontmatter, content, and graph edges.
vault_resource_readRead a server-stored resource by ID (fallback for MCP clients that do not expose the resources protocol natively). Accepts either the bare hex ID or the full ``cortex://resource/{id}`` URI.
vault_searchSearch the vault via QMD (keyword, semantic, or hybrid). Enriched with graph edges. Set ``as_resource=True`` for token-heavy result sets — the full payload is kept server-side as an MCP resource and a lightweight handle is returned (see ``cortex://resource/{id}``).
vault_traceTrace a note's lineage: provenance, raw sources, and every edge touching it labeled extracted / inferred / manual.
vault_writeCreate or update a note with provenance tracking. Updates graph and index.
