  • add-hostAdd site to Webmaster

    Add a new site (host) to Yandex Webmaster. The host_url must include protocol (e.g. "https://example.com"). After adding, the host needs verification.

  • add-recrawl-urlQueue URL for re-crawl

    Enqueue a URL for Yandex re-crawl. Daily quota applies (check get-recrawl-quota). Returns task_id.

  • add-sitemapAdd Sitemap file

    Add a Sitemap file to Yandex Webmaster (user-added sitemaps). Returns sitemap_id. The host must be verified, or the call fails with 404 HOST_NOT_VERIFIED. Adding a file that is already there fails with 409 SITEMAP_ALREADY_ADDED — not a broken call but "already present", and the error payload names the existing sitemap_id.

    Remove a host (site) from Yandex Webmaster. IRREVERSIBLE: verification, indexing and search-query history, sitemaps and important-URL settings are lost permanently; re-adding the site starts from scratch. Requires `confirm: true` — without it the tool refuses and calls nothing.

    List broken internal links (destination URL, the source page linking to it, and when Yandex last checked the link). Records can be months old: `source_last_access_date` equal to `discovery_date` means the link has NOT been re-verified since the problem was found, so it may already be fixed. Such records are flagged `stale` / "never re-checked" — verify before treating the count as a live failure.

    Pages DROPPED FROM SEARCH inside a time window, with the reason for each one (url + excluded_url_status, plus bad_http_status for HTTP_ERROR and target_url for redirect/canonical/duplicate cases). READ THE NATURE OF THIS DATA: API v4 has no "currently excluded pages" resource, only the event log /search-urls/events/samples, so this is built from REMOVED_FROM_SEARCH EVENTS in the scanned window, not from a live index snapshot. Events are deduplicated per URL with the latest one winning, so a page that dropped and came back is NOT reported as excluded — it is listed separately under `returned_to…

Put the verification_uin (see verify-host) on the site first: HTML_FILE — file yandex_<uin>.html, META_TAG — <meta name="yandex-verification">, DNS — TXT record. The check runs asynchronously: the call returns the current state (usually IN_PROGRESS); poll verify-host for VERIFIED or VERIFICATION_FAILED (reason in fail_info).

  • verify-host

    Get verification status and available verification methods for a host. Use after add-host to check what verification is needed.
