Need help deploying Starlog?
Chalk Labs sets up agents like this inside real teams: connected to your tools, tested on your data, with a human in the loop where it matters.
Install
Works with Claude Code, Codex, VS Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop. Read the repository before you give any tool access to your data.
npx agentmarket install connector/starloghq-starlog
Asks which of your tools to add it to (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, Claude Desktop) and shows the change first. See https://agentmart.dev/cli.

Permissions
What this server can do and what it asks for, from its tool list, install config and code. Checked Oct 25, 2026.
Runs code on install
Its package runs an install script (such as npm postinstall or setup.py code) as soon as you install it, before any tool is called. Read the script first.

starlog_adviseWhen you detect DIY or repeated capability code (auth, caching, jobs, etc.), call this BEFORE building more custom code or extracting a reusable package. It tracks patterns, searches for safe alternatives, and advises MIGRATE to a known library when one exists (e.g. Clerk/Auth0/Supabase over DIY auth) or PACKAGEIZE only when no safe corpus alternative exists. Prefer migration over packageizing commodity capabilities.
starlog_factsLook up authoritative facts about a software package: known vulnerabilities/CVEs and supply-chain incidents, SPDX license and license risk, maintenance status (active/deprecated/abandoned/compromised), and what the package can do (effect surface). Use it to vet a package before recommending it.
starlog_searchDiscover candidate packages for a capability: surfaces options for a need (org-sanctioned/private ones first when configured), with integration effort, best-for and skip-when notes. This is discovery — it surfaces what exists; to vet a specific named package (CVEs, license, maintenance), call starlog_facts. Use after you have a capability/need and want candidate package names.
