Tools (92)

Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].

  • answer_human

Answer a pending question. The system applies side effects based on question type and answer content.

  • ask_pending

Get pending questions generated by the learning engine. These are things the system needs human input on.

  • backup_database

Create, list, verify, or clean up database backups. Args: action: One of: create, list, verify, cleanup backup_path: Path to backup (for verify). If None, uses default location. keep: Number of backups to keep for cleanup (default 10) Returns: JSON string with backup information

  • classify_memory_tier

Infer the 3-tier memory class for a prospective atom. Tiers: episodic (events/logs/session traces), semantic (facts/decisions), procedural (preferences/procedures/standing rules).

  • cleanup_duplicates

Remove duplicate session_msg atoms. Keeps atoms with a content_hash (v2 watcher) and removes older duplicates without one (v1 watcher artifacts). Also removes any remaining exact-duplicate pairs by content_hash, keeping the oldest. Returns a summary of what was removed.

  • cleanup_sessions

Delete expired session atoms (TTL passed). Safe to call anytime — only removes atoms past their TTL.

  • cognitive_status

Get cognitive health metrics for the memory graph. Returns counts for active/durable atoms, bonds, isolated durable atoms, pending questions, missing compact summaries, stale atoms, and recommendations.

  • curator_run

Run one cognitive curator pass. dry_run=True only proposes actions. With auto_apply=True and dry_run=False, applies safe body_compact generation and high-confidence rule-based bonds. It never deletes durable atoms or rewrites markdown source files.

  • decay_run

Run decay cycle: reduce weight of atoms not accessed recently.

  • delete_atom

Delete an atom from the Memory Engine. This permanently removes the atom and all bonds connected to it.

  • error_check

  • error_list

List recorded errors, filtered by resolution status. Args: resolved: True to show resolved errors, False for unresolved (default) limit: Max results Returns: JSON string with error list
