Tools (28)

Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].

  • add_commentAdd comment

Add a comment to a page or row — a thread separate from the body, for running notes or a closure note. Agent comments cannot be edited or deleted afterwards; use update_page for content you may need to revise.

  • bulk_create_pagesBulk create pages

Create up to 100 pages and/or rows in one call — the fast way to fill a database or lay out a section. In order, NOT atomic: each entry reports its own ok/error. Nest under an entry created earlier in the call with `ref` + `parentRef`. Not idempotent: after a dropped connection check what exists before re-sending.

  • bulk_delete_pagesBulk delete pagescan change or delete data

Delete up to 100 pages, databases or rows. Without confirm: true it only previews. Each entry reports its own ok/error, so one bad id does not sink the batch. Items go to the Trash: a person can restore them for 30 days (you cannot).

  • bulk_move_itemsBulk move items

Move up to 100 items. newParentId: reparent pages/databases in the sidebar (null = root). targetDatabaseId: move rows to another database — refused entirely, naming the columns, unless the target covers every source column by name and type; never silently drops a property. Pass exactly one of the two.

  • bulk_update_pagesBulk update pages

Update many pages/rows in one call, each with update_page's rules (partial patch, properties merged, title synced; one entry per page). Not atomic: each entry reports its own ok/error and the others stay applied. Retry only ok: false entries; repeating an update is safe.

  • create_dashboardCreate dashboard

Create a dashboard: metric, chart, list, table and text blocks that read live from this workspace's databases, written as JSON (no HTML). Read the block catalog and templates first: resource remnus://dashboard/catalog (or remnus.com/wiki/dashboards). The result has the page url and warnings for blocks that will render empty or broken.

  • create_databaseCreate database

Create a database (a Title column is always first). Give it an icon, and pass `views` for the kanban/calendar views people will use — a Table view always exists.

  • create_database_viewCreate database view

Add a table, kanban or calendar view. Kanban groups by a select/status column and calendar places cards by a date/datetime column — each auto-picked when omitted.

  • create_pageCreate page

Create a standalone page (parentId to nest it) or a database row (databaseId). Give it an icon. For several, use bulk_create_pages. Row `properties` keys may be column names or ids (case-insensitive); `title` is mirrored into the row's title property.

  • delete_database_viewDelete database viewcan change or delete data

Delete a view (confirm: true required). The last view of a database cannot be deleted.

  • delete_pageDelete pagecan change or delete data

Delete a page, database, dashboard or row. Without confirm: true it only returns a preview of what would be deleted. Goes to the Trash: a person can restore it for 30 days (you cannot).

  • get_changes_sinceGet changes sinceread-only

Everything created, updated or deleted since a cursor (from the workspace digest/map or a previous call) or an ISO time — pages, databases, rows and deletions, oldest first. Omit both to bootstrap. Always keep nextCursor for the next call: this is how to catch up instead of re-reading the tree. An entry stamped in the cursor's own second may appear once more — dedupe by id.

  • get_database_schemaGet database schemaread-only

Columns (id, name, type, options) and saved views of a database, without rows. Check it before writing rows or changing views.

  • get_pageGet pageread-only

Read a page, database row or dashboard by id (type auto-detected; a dashboard comes back as its block `spec`). mode: "outline" returns headings + first line per section — a cheap skim for a long page (the map shows body sizes) before a full read.

  • get_pagesGet pages by IDread-only

Read several pages/rows by id in one call, for a known, possibly mixed id list. A bad id fails only its own entry — check each "ok". For rows of one database use query_database with filters/fields instead: one query, not N lookups.

Show 13 more tools
  • get_related_pagesGet related pagesread-only

A page's neighborhood, titles and ids only: parent, children, outgoing links (@-links and child blocks), backlinks, row siblings, and the repo files it rests on. With resource (a file path) instead: the pages resting on that file — read them before changing it.

  • get_statusConnection statusread-only

This connection's state: workspace, scope, token expiry and renewal. Call it when Remnus tools are missing, a write is refused or a call fails with 401.

  • list_membersList membersread-only

Workspace members with roles and join dates.

  • list_workspaceList workspace itemsread-only

List sidebar items (pages and databases), optionally under one parent; paginated. For orientation the workspace digest/map is cheaper.

  • move_itemMove item

Move a page or database under a new parent; null = workspace root. `position` places it among its siblings (to reorder in place, pass its current parent).

  • prepare_contextPrepare agent contextread-only

Build a task-specific, token-budgeted context pack from the most relevant pages: lexical rank, human-reviewed knowledge preferred, stale/deprecated concepts penalized, plus the top hits' link neighbors. Use it before multi-page product or coding work instead of many search/get_page calls.

  • query_audit_logQuery audit logread-only

Agent activity log for this workspace, filterable by tool, status and date range.

  • query_databaseQuery databaseread-only

Rows (and the matching schema) of a database, paginated. Row bodies are NOT included unless "content" is in fields. Use filters to narrow and fields to project only the columns you need — much cheaper on wide tables.

  • search_workspaceSearch workspaceread-only

Case- and accent-insensitive search over titles and bodies of pages, databases and rows, best matches first. Use it to locate an item by text when the workspace map does not already give you its id.

  • update_dashboardUpdate dashboard

Patch a dashboard by block id — send only what changes, never the whole spec. All-or-nothing, applied remove → update → add → order. `update` entries are {id, ...fields}, merged into that block (null removes a field; type cannot change). Same result as create_dashboard.

  • update_database_schemaUpdate database schemacan change or delete data

Add or remove columns. Removing is destructive (data loss) and needs confirm: true. The title column cannot be removed.

  • update_database_viewUpdate database view

Rename a view, change its icon, or merge fields into its config (filters, sorts, groupByCol, dateCol, cardProperties…). The type cannot change — create a new view instead. get_database_schema shows view ids and the config shape.

  • update_pageUpdate page

Update a page or row. Only the fields you pass change. `content` replaces the whole body (`tick` / `append` edit it without resending it); row `properties` are merged into the existing values, not replaced; `title` also updates the row's title property.
