check_mxCheck a domain's MX records (email deliverability pre-check). Verdicts: "mx_ok", "no_mx_email_will_bounce", or "pec_only" (Italian certified-mail-only domains — regular unsolicited email is likely to bounce or be inappropriate there). Uses DNS-over-HTTPS via dns.google.
confirm_no_websiteFinal check that a business has no own website, via web search. Searches for the business name + city and classifies the result domains: own-site candidates vs listings/socials/aggregators. Use this after find_businesses(website_filter="no_website") — OSM data alone is not proof. Uses Brave Search (BRAVE_API_KEY) or Google Programmable Search (GOOGLE_CSE_API_KEY + GOOGLE_CSE_CX).
export_leadsSerialize a list of leads (as returned by find_businesses) to "csv", "json" or "markdown". Pass the leads array as a JSON string; extra fields you added (e.g. verification verdicts) are kept.
find_businessesFind local businesses in an area via OpenStreetMap. Args: area: city/town/district name, e.g. "Turin, Italy". category: a key from list_categories() or a raw OSM tag like "shop=butcher". website_filter: "no_website" (default) returns only businesses with no website tag in OSM; "has_website" the opposite; "all" both. phone_prefix: optional regex the phone must match, e.g. "^\+?39 ?3" for Italian mobile numbers. require_phone: drop businesses without a phone number in OSM. limit: max results (default 50). IMPORTANT: OSM data can be stale or incom…
list_categoriesList the supported business categories and their OpenStreetMap tags. find_businesses() also accepts any raw OSM 'key=value' tag, so this list is a convenience, not a limit.
score_websiteScore how weak a business website is (0-100, higher = healthier). Measures concrete signals: HTTPS, title/meta description/H1, mobile viewport, robots.txt, sitemap.xml, page weight, HTTP status — plus CMS/tech detection (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, ...). Every point lost is tied to a named issue in "issues", so the output is citable evidence, not an opinion. If the PAGESPEED_API_KEY env var is set, mobile Lighthouse scores (performance / SEO / accessibility / best practices) are added via the Google PageSpeed Insights API.
verify_websiteVerify whether a domain really hosts a business's own website. Checks apex AND www (falling back to http), follows redirects safely, and classifies the destination. Verdicts: - "live_own_site": a real site answered on its own domain. - "not_own_site": something answered, but it's a social profile, booking aggregator or free subdomain — not an own website. - "domain_exists_no_site": DNS exists but nothing answered (possibly parked or down). - "no_website_found": no DNS on apex or www. NOTE: the business may still have a site on a different domain — confirm with a web search (confirm_n…
