Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].
get_bluesky_profileGet Bluesky ProfileFull Bluesky profile: bio and follower/following/post counts. No API key. Cheap context before reading a feed. Args: handle: A Bluesky handle, e.g. "user.bsky.social" (a leading @ is fine).
get_company_financialsGet Company FinancialsAnnual fundamentals (revenue, earnings, assets) for a US-listed company. No key. Pulls figures from SEC EDGAR 10-K filings. US filers only. Set SEC_USER_AGENT to your contact email to comply with SEC's fair-access policy (a default is used otherwise). Args: ticker: Stock ticker symbol, e.g. "AAPL", "MSFT".
get_country_indicatorGet Country IndicatorYearly socio-economic series for a country: GDP, population, inflation, etc. Args: country: Country name or ISO code (e.g. "Germany", "DE", "DEU"). indicator: World Bank indicator code (e.g. "NY.GDP.MKTP.CD"). Use search_indicators to find a code by keyword. start: First year (optional). end: Last year (optional). Omit both for the full available range. A single bound extends to the present / back to 1960.
get_crypto_priceGet Crypto PriceCryptocurrency price: current, or daily history over a window. No API key. Args: coin: Coin id or ticker symbol (e.g. "bitcoin", "btc", "ethereum", "eth"). vs: Quote currency (e.g. "usd", "eur", "btc"). Default "usd". days: If given, return daily price history for the last N days (1–365); omit for the current price only.
get_current_dateGet Current DateReturn the current date and UTC time, so relative requests can be anchored. Use this whenever a request is time-relative ("last 30 days", "since last year", "recent", "this week") and you need to know what "now" is — do **not** guess the date from memory. The UTC date is the anchor for every date-range tool. Returns server-generated trusted data (the host's own clock), so unlike the fetch tools its output is not wrapped as untrusted content.
get_fx_rateGet FX RateCurrency exchange rates (ECB via Frankfurter): latest, historical, or a series. Args: symbols: Target currency code(s), comma-separated (e.g. "EUR,GBP,JPY"). Empty → all available currencies. base: Base currency to quote against (default "USD"). start: Range/point start date (ISO ``YYYY-MM-DD``). end: Range end date. Omit both → latest. One only → that single historical date. Both → series. group: Downsample a series to ``"week"`` or ``"month"`` (end-of-period rate).
get_historical_weatherGet Historical WeatherHistorical climate series for a place, aggregated for trend analysis. No key. Spans ERA5 reanalysis since 1940 (≈5-day lag at the recent end). Daily data is *always* aggregated — a multi-year raw daily series is thousands of points. Args: location: City or place name, resolved via Open-Meteo geocoding. start: Range start date (ISO ``YYYY-MM-DD``; common typings also accepted). end: Range end date. Must be on or after ``start``. aggregate: ``"monthly"`` (mean temp + total precip per month) or ``"yearly"``.
get_weather_forecastGet Weather ForecastCurrent conditions + daily forecast for a place. No API key required. Args: location: City or place name (e.g. "Berlin", "San Francisco"). Resolved to coordinates via Open-Meteo geocoding. days: Forecast length in days (1–16, default 7).
get_youtube_transcriptGet YouTube TranscriptFetch the transcript/subtitles of a YouTube video. No API key required. Args: url: YouTube video URL (youtube.com/watch?v=..., youtu.be/..., shorts/) or bare 11-char video ID.
read_bluesky_feedRead Bluesky FeedRead a user's recent *original* posts (reposts and replies filtered out). No key. Args: handle: A Bluesky handle, e.g. "user.bsky.social" (a leading @ is fine). limit: Number of original posts to return (1–25, default 10).
read_pdfRead PDFDownload and extract text from a PDF. Handles arXiv abstract/HTML/PDF URLs. Args: url: URL to a PDF file or arXiv paper page.
read_repoRead GitHub RepositoryRead a public GitHub repository: metadata, README, file tree, and key files. Works without authentication (60 req/hr). Set GITHUB_TOKEN env var for 5,000 req/hr. Args: repo: GitHub repository URL (https://github.com/owner/repo) or owner/repo shorthand.
read_urlRead Web PageFetch a web page and return its main text content. Args: url: Full URL to fetch.
search_bluesky_usersSearch Bluesky UsersFind Bluesky profiles by name, handle, or bio text. No API key required. Args: query: Name, handle, or topic, e.g. "neuroscience" or "Jane Smith". max_results: Number of profiles to return (1–25, default 10).

search_newsSearch NewsSearch fresh global news on a topic (multilingual). No API key required. Returns recent articles (title, URL, domain, country, language, date) → feed a URL into read_url for the full text. Powered by GDELT, with a DuckDuckGo News fallback if GDELT is unreachable (fallback ignores the country/language filters). Args: query: Topic to search, e.g. "renewable energy" or "central bank rates". Use whole words — GDELT rejects very short/acronym-only queries like "AI" (spell it "artificial intelligence"). max_results: Number of articles to return (1–50, default 10). A smaller…
