  • generate_session_anchor

    Generate and save a session anchor for context recovery or later retrieval. Supply a short descriptive label to get a readable tag with a random suffix; omit it for four random words. If you know the session_id, supply it to attach the anchor immediately. Otherwise say the returned phrase and wait for a user reply so it is written to the transcript. Use list_session_anchors to retrieve saved anchors and their matching sessions, including older conversations.

  • get_session_messagesread-only

    Get messages from a coding agent session. Use last_n for tail (e.g., 'where were we'), around_sequence for context around a search match, or neither for full transcript.

  • list_open_sessionsread-only

    List coding agent sessions that currently have a live process attached, grouped by project and annotated with idle time. Use this to see what's open right now, find stale sessions, or check whether a session is already open before suggesting its resume_command.

  • list_recent_sessionsread-only

    Get recent coding agent sessions, optionally filtered by project or provider

  • list_session_anchorsread-only

    List saved session anchors, newest first, with labels, creation times and matching sessions. Unfiltered results include anchors not yet found in a transcript (empty sessions). Lookup has no date cutoff. If a phrase occurs in multiple conversations, all matches are eligible; use the returned session_id with get_session_messages. Only anchors generated since persistence was added are registered. Follow next_offset to retrieve more anchors.

  • search_sessionsread-only

    Search coding agent sessions for a query string across all message content. Can search current session only, exclude current session, or search all sessions. Supports date, project, and provider filtering. TO FIND EARLIER CONTEXT IN YOUR CURRENT SESSION (disappeared due to context compaction): Use anchor_phrase with a unique phrase you just said or saw - this identifies your session. Then query searches only within that session. The database syncs before every search so even recent messages are searchable.
