  • analyze_content

    Analyze content for translation readiness and get improvement suggestions. Returns detailed analysis including content type, quality score, and specific recommendations. Costs the same credits as translation.

  • check_translation_status

    Check async translation job status. Returns JSON with: status, progress (0-100%), elapsedTime, completedLanguages, and downloadUrls. IMPORTANT: Always report the progress percentage to the user (e.g., "Translation is 45% complete"). Supports cursor-based pagination for download URLs (recommended for jobs with >10 languages). CRITICAL: If a job fails with "quality problems" or "Retrying might encounter the same problem", do NOT automatically retry - stop and report the failure to the user first.

    Download completed translations to /tmp/i18n-translations-{jobId}/. Returns file paths and action_required field. IMPORTANT: After downloading, copy each {lang}.json file to the correct locale folder matching the source file structure (e.g., if source was locales/en/messages.json, copy to locales/{lang}/messages.json).

  • get_credits

    Get remaining credits for the user and approximate word count available at 1 credit per word ($0.01/word)

  • list_supported_languages

    Get list of supported languages with quality ratings

  • list_uploaded_translations

    List all uploaded translation files in a namespace, showing file names, language pairs, translation counts, and upload dates. Helps track what translations are available for reuse.

  • resume_translation

    Resume a failed or interrupted async translation job from its last checkpoint. This allows you to continue processing from where it stopped instead of starting over.

  • translate_file

    Translate file content while preserving structure and format. Supports single or multi-language translation via targetLanguages parameter (string for single, array for multiple). Supports JSON, YAML, XML, CSV, TXT, MD, and other text files. Always returns a jobId for async processing - use check_translation_status to monitor progress and download_translations to get results. Set pseudoTranslation=true for testing i18n implementations without AI cost. Example: sourceFilePath="/docs/en/guide.md", targetFilePath="/docs/de/guide.md", sourceLocale="en", targetLocale="de". Supports JSON, YAML, PO, XLIFF, MD, TXT, HTML. Namespace is auto-detected or can be explicitly provided.
