    Read-only IMAP scan: detect professor replies and tag the outreach log. Needs IMAP creds in .env (defaults to Gmail + SMTP credentials).

    Symlink the bundled `lor-writing` and `sop-writing` skills into ~/.claude/skills/ so Claude Code / Claude Desktop pick them up. Falls back to copy on filesystems without symlink support (Windows without developer mode). Existing symlinks are refreshed; existing real directories are skipped unless `force=True`. Args: target: override destination dir (default: ~/.claude/skills). force: replace existing non-symlink entries with the same name.

    Selectively purge the Semantic Scholar cache. `query` matches author names and ids (substring). Use everything=True to wipe the whole cache. Use after a prof's S2 record changes (new affiliation, merged record).

  • send_draft_to_me

    Emails the draft file to your inbox (NOTIFY_TO).

  • set_letterhead

    Set (or clear) the letterhead / company logo used when compiling a Letter of Recommendation to LaTeX. Writes LOR_LETTERHEAD_PATH and (optionally) LOR_LETTERHEAD_WIDTH into the user's dotenv at ~/.grad-agent/.env. Pass `path=""` to clear it (next compile emits a plain top block the recommender can paste onto their own letterhead). This is the recommended way to swap letterheads per recommender. Args: path: absolute path to the letterhead image (.png / .jpg / .pdf). Empty string clears the setting. width: optional LaTeX length for the letterhead (e.g. "2.5in"). Empty str…

    Audit trail of skipped leads: who was rejected, at which stage (identity / faculty-gate / region / dedup / no-papers), and the specific mismatch that failed (e.g. 'identity ambiguous: 2 comparable candidates').
