    Read the URL, title, visible text and links of whatever page is currently open in the browser tab Yad controls.

    Fetch the result of the most recent yad_run_goal call, in case it needs to be re-read.

  • yad_navigateNavigate browser

    Open a URL in the user's real, already-logged-in browser tab that Yad controls.

  • yad_run_goalRun a browser task

    Give Yad a plain-language task to carry out in the user's real, logged-in browser (e.g. 'find the price of the first item on this page' or 'click the login button'). Waits for the task to finish and returns the result. Yad always pauses and asks the user for direct, in-browser confirmation before any action that changes something — clicking a button/checkbox/menu item, submitting or typing into a form, uploading a file, choosing a dropdown option, or navigating to a different site — not only checkout/payment paths, which are additionally hard-blocked outright.

    Check whether the Yad browser companion is running and connected to Chrome/Edge/Brave on this machine. Call this first before any other yad_* tool.
