• add_comment

  Add a review comment for a specific line range or document anchor in a file. Args: file_path: Relative path to the file being reviewed. line_start: First line number (1-based). line_end: Last line number (1-based, inclusive). text: Review comment text. highlighted_text: The verbatim source text that the comment refers to. region_x1: Left edge of image region in original pixels (optional, for image files). region_y1: Top edge of image region in original pixels (optional, for image files). region_x2: Right edge of image region in original pixels (optional, for im…

• clear_all_comments

  Remove every in-memory review comment at once (same as the UI Clear all button). This clears the live session only; it does not delete JSON/Markdown files on disk until you call save_comments() again (which would then write empty files). Returns: A short confirmation including how many comments were removed.

• delete_comment

  Delete a review comment by its ID. Args: comment_id: The UUID of the comment to delete. Returns: Confirmation or error message.

• delete_outdated_comments

  Remove every comment marked ``outdated`` (same as the UI Delete outdated button). Run ``recompute_comment_stale()`` first so ``outdated`` flags are up to date. Returns: Short confirmation with how many comments were removed.

• get_config

  Return save/load defaults, the web UI base URL when known, MCP session metadata if any, and the active MCP protocol version.

• get_file_content

  Read a file and return the same structure as the REST API / UI viewer. Args: path: Relative path to the file within the repo root. Returns: Dict with keys: content, line_count, language, path. On error, {"error": "..."}.

• get_git_changes

  Return a list of files changed relative to the last commit (HEAD). Returns: List of GitChange dicts with keys: path, status. Status values: M=modified, A=added, D=deleted, R=renamed, ?=untracked.

• get_git_diff

  Return the diff for a specific file. Args: path: Relative path to the file. Returns: Dict with keys: path, original (HEAD content), modified (working tree), diff (unified).

• get_review_web_url

  Return URLs for the Batch Review web UI, browser WebSocket, and HTTP MCP mount. Use this to share the review app link with a user or to call MCP over HTTP on the same server. Values are null until the HTTP server has bound (set at process startup). The same JSON is available as MCP resource ``batch-review://server/urls``.

• highlight_in_ui

  Scroll and highlight a location in the browser UI. **Text / code files:** pass ``line_start`` and ``line_end`` (1-based, inclusive). Leave ``pdf_page`` unset. ``line_start`` must be >= 1. **PDF files:** pass ``pdf_page`` (1-based page index) and ``region_x1``–``region_y2`` as normalized fractions in 0–1 on that page (same convention as ``add_comment`` for PDFs: origin top-left of the page). ``line_start`` / ``line_end`` are ignored (may be omitted). **Image files** (png, jpg, …): pass all of ``region_x1``–``region_y2`` in **original image pixel** coordinates (same as ``add_comment`` for ima…

  List files and directories in the repository. Args: path: Relative path within the repo root (default: repo root). Returns: List of FileInfo dicts with keys: name, path, is_dir, language, children.

• list_review_files

  List base names of saved ``*.json`` review files in output_dir (for load_review_by_stem).
