  • get_alertsGet new SEC filings for watched tickers

    Return SEC EDGAR filings detected for your watched tickers since the last call to this tool (a per-user cursor advances each time, so you never see the same filing twice). Each alert includes ticker, company, formType, category (insider or material_event), accession number, the SEC acceptance time, the detection time, the detection latency in seconds, and a direct link to the filing. Returns an empty list if nothing new. Set up tickers first with watch_insider.

    Register US stock tickers to monitor for new SEC EDGAR filings: Form 4 (insider buys/sells by officers, directors and 10% owners) and 8-K (material corporate events). After registering, call get_alerts to receive new filings as they are detected. Detection is sub-minute (fast polling, not instant/real-time): typically ~45 seconds after the SEC accepts a filing, worst case under ~2 minutes. Accepts up to 100 tickers; unknown tickers are reported back.
