Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].

  • backtest_checkCheck recorded memory for backtest contaminationread-only

Detect lookahead bias in a backtest simulation. Counts every recorded contaminant in the authenticated scope and returns a bounded page of detailed flags. Returns FUTURE_EVENT (event_time is after the checkpoint) and LATE_REVISION (the revised figure hadn't been published yet) flags. is_clean does not attest to unrecorded external inputs.

  • checkpoint_task

Record progress, typed evidence, constraint checks, blockers, and the current action. Lians preserves prior checkpoints, binds local Git state when available, and rejects stale agent updates. This agent-facing tool cannot grant measured or human-confirmed trust; those declared labels are stored as agent attestations until an authorized verifier accepts them.

  • configure_verification

Bind one task contract to an explicit repository scope, criterion mappings, required checks, and communication rules. Lians stores this policy locally.

  • continue_work

Resume unfinished work with one bounded, signed continuity brief. Lians selects the only active task or returns choices instead of guessing.

  • correct_memoryCorrect a Lians memory

Correct one stale memory by appending a replacement. The previous version remains inspectable but is no longer recalled.

  • fact_historyInspect Lians fact historyread-only

Return matches from a bounded, ordered structured-fact scan. Query by ticker + metric - ideal for time-series views like 'show me how AAPL EPS evolved over the last four quarters'. Superseded versions are included when found within the disclosed scan. Entity normalization: 'Apple Inc.', ISIN 'US0378331005', and 'AAPL' all resolve to the same fact series automatically.

  • forget_memoryForget a Lians memorycan change or delete data

Permanently erase one memory. Refuses unless confirm is true.

  • list_conflictsList Lians memory conflictsread-only

List open conflict flags - cases where two sources reported different values for the same fact at the same event_time. Use this to surface data quality issues before they affect decisions. Returns up to 20 open conflicts with both memory contents so a human or LLM can decide which source to trust.

  • list_memoriesInspect Lians memoriesread-only

Inspect saved memories and whether each is current or superseded.

  • memory_at

Return what one named fact meant at a factual time and what Lians knew about it at a knowledge time.

  • memory_health

Inspect memory hierarchy, scope, duplicates, size, versioning, and staleness without changing or exposing memory content.

  • memory_history

Inspect every version of one named fact or decision in order.

  • memory_lineageInspect Lians memory lineageread-only

Return a bounded supersession graph for a memory, including cardinality, truncation, root/tip, and audit-binding fields. Use when asked 'how did this guidance number evolve over time?' or when investigating why a memory was replaced.

  • recallRecall current Lians memoryread-only

Retrieve the most relevant CURRENT memories for a query. Returns only presently-valid facts - superseded facts are excluded. Call this before answering any question that may be in memory. Use filters={ticker: NVDA} to narrow to a specific instrument.

  • recall_atRecall Lians memory at a point in timeread-only

Retrieve memories that were valid at a specific past point in time. Use for compliance and audit: 'What guidance did we have on 2026-03-01?' Later superseding updates are excluded - this is true point-in-time recall. mem0 and Zep have no bitemporal model with compliance audit stack.

  • reconstructReconstruct Lians memory stateread-only

Reconstruct a bounded memory-state and audit-event page at a past point in time, with exact totals and completeness fields. Use for regulatory audit submissions and trade reconstruction.

  • rememberRemember in Lians

Store a financial fact, observation, or decision in persistent memory. Always provide event_time_iso as when the event occurred, not now. Add ticker/metric/entity metadata for precise supersession detection - this is what lets AgentMem automatically replace stale guidance numbers.

  • resolve_state_impact

Resolve one invalidated dependency after explicit repair evidence, or dismiss it when the dependency was incorrect.

  • set_current

Create or update one named current fact, decision, constraint, or plan. Preserves the prior version and rejects stale out-of-order updates.

  • start_task

Create a durable goal, definition of done, and constraints shared by every connected agent before substantial work begins.

  • state_impact

Preview the transitive blast radius of changing one memory without modifying state.

  • state_repair_brief

Return verified replacement state plus only the work invalidated by a change. Invalidated memory is excluded from normal recall.

  • task_context

Give an agent a bounded, signed task contract containing the current goal, remaining criteria, constraints, progress, and blockers.

  • task_status

Check definition-of-done coverage, constraint evidence, blockers, and drift before an agent claims completion.

  • track_dependencies

Record which memories, files, documents, tests, analyses, or outputs depend on one current memory. References and labels remain encrypted locally.

  • understand_request

Build a compact local understanding brief for a request. Uses relevant memory, identifies missing details, and returns at most three questions that could materially change the work. The request is not persisted or sent to another model.

  • verification_status

Return the latest signed verification receipt for one task.

  • verify_work

Inspect the current Git diff against a task's frozen intent and verification policy, exhaustively check configured finite proof models, then store a signed receipt. Does not execute project commands.
