  • create_fill_linkCreate patient fill link

    Mint a hosted URL where a patient fills the form — no EasyDocForms account needed on their side. Links always serve the template's latest version. Set external_ref to your own visit/order id to correlate the eventual submission; external_ref must never contain PHI.

  • get_completed_pdf_linkGet completed-PDF download link

    Get a short-lived signed download URL for a submission's completed, pixel-exact PDF — safe to hand to the user or an EMR without exposing the API key. The URL expires in about 10 minutes; treat it like a fax (anyone holding it can download this one document until then). Every call is audit-logged.

  • get_import_statusCheck import status

    Check on a PDF import started by import_pdf_from_url. Imports never fail for quality reasons: the template is always created, and review_required tells staff what to double-check in the EasyDocForms editor.

  • get_submissionGet submission metadata

    Look up a patient submission: when it arrived, which template and fill link produced it, your external_ref, and whether the completed PDF is ready. PHI boundary: returns metadata and an answer count only — never the patient's answers. Answers are retrieved server-side via GET /api/v1/submissions/{id} with the API key.

  • import_pdf_from_urlImport blank PDF form

    Import a blank PDF intake form into EasyDocForms, turning it into a hosted, mobile-friendly fillable form. Async: returns an import_id immediately; processing typically takes 1–10 minutes — poll get_import_status. BLANK FORMS ONLY: the PDF must contain no patient information (PHI), and blank_form_attestation must be true.

  • list_templatesList form templates

    List the organization's active PDF form templates, newest first — templates imported via this server and templates created in the EasyDocForms app alike. Use a template_id with create_fill_link.
