Read from the source code; the running server may differ. Descriptions are the server’s own words; hidden characters are shown as [U+…].
qhs_deletePermanently delete a previously shared HTML. After this, the share URL returns 404. Use when the user says 'delete my share', 'take that page down', 'remove the demo I posted'. Uses this machine's stored edit token when it has one; otherwise falls back to the saved sync code, which can delete a share created on another machine — that path requires confirm: true. Idempotent: re-deleting an already-deleted slug returns ok.
qhs_editReplace the HTML at a previously shared slug. Use when the user wants to update a share they already created — e.g. 'fix the typo on the page I shared', 'update that demo with the new code'. The shareUrl stays the same; viewers who already loaded the page need to refresh. Requires an edit token in ~/.qhs/shares.json (populated when qhs_share or the companion Claude Code skill created the share). If the slug is unknown, ask the user to paste their edit URL — the part after #edit= is the token.
qhs_listList the user's shares. Use when they ask 'what have I shared', 'list my shares', 'show recent links'. Covers shares created on this machine, plus — if a sync code is saved — every share created on their other machines. Titles only exist for shares created here.
qhs_preview_versionRead the HTML source of an old version WITHOUT publishing it. Use before qhs_restore, and whenever the user asks 'what was in version N', 'show me the old one'. Restoring is reversible, but the exposure is not — an old version may contain something the user deliberately removed, and restoring it makes it visible to everyone holding the share link immediately.
qhs_restoreRestore an older version of a share. Use when the user says "undo that", "go back to the previous version", "I overwrote it by mistake". Restoring appends the old content as a NEW version rather than rewinding, so nothing is lost and the restore itself can be undone. It does republish that content to everyone holding the share link, so preview first if there is any chance the old version contains something the user removed on purpose.
qhs_set_sync_codeSave the user’s qhs sync code on this machine so version history and restore work for shares created elsewhere. The code is stored locally in ~/.qhs/shares.json and only ever reaches the server as a hash. Use when the user says 'here is my sync code', 'connect my shares', or hits a tool that reports no credential.
qhs_shareUpload an HTML document (or self-contained snippet) and get back a public, unguessable shareable URL plus a private edit URL. Use this whenever the user wants to share, preview, demo, publish, or 'send a link for' some HTML they wrote/generated. Typical triggers: 'share this HTML', 'give me a link to send', 'put this online', 'publish this page', 'preview in browser', 'send to a friend'. The share URL is unguessable (~62 bits of entropy) and acts as a soft secret — only people with the link can view. No login required for viewers. IMPORTANT: After calling this, tell the user the editUrl is p…
qhs_statsGet view statistics for a share: total view count, unique viewers, where the traffic came from, last viewed time, created time, and whether the share is deleted. Use when the user asks 'did anyone see my share', 'how many views', 'check who looked at it', 'where did the traffic come from', 'is the demo getting traffic'. No edit token required — anyone with the slug can read stats (matches the product’s "link is the secret" model).
qhs_versionsList the saved versions of a share: version number, when it was written, and how big it was. Use when the user asks 'what versions are there', 'show the history', 'can I get back the previous version', 'what did this look like before'. Editing a share keeps the old content rather than overwriting it. Requires an edit token (auto-loaded from local storage) or a saved sync code.
