execute-command
Execute a command on a configured SSH server and return its output. Use list-servers first to pick connectionName. Set sessionName to run inside a named session (CWD persists); open the session first with session action=open. Large output is spilled to a local file — Grep/Read that file instead of re-running the command.
file-transfer
Upload or download a file OR a directory (transferred recursively) between the local machine and the connected server. Single-file uploads are atomic (remote <target>.part + rename after a sha256 check) and never truncate an existing target on failure; transfers are deduplicated (skipped when the destination already matches) and resumed from an existing .part unless force is set. Progress is reported via MCP progress notifications to the requesting client when the client requests them.
list-servers
List configured SSH servers (metadata, connection status, system info, last few recorded commands) and active named sessions. Call this first to pick connectionName or sessionName — the recent commands help resume context from a previous session.
session
Manage named SSH sessions on exec-mode connections. action=open creates a session (optionally starts a background job with background+cmdString); action=read polls background output; action=close stops background jobs and releases the shell; action=list shows all sessions. Use execute-command with sessionName to run commands with persistent CWD.
