  Check RDAP registry record status: registered, not_found, or unknown when coverage is absent. available is false for a found record and null otherwise; a registry miss never guarantees registration eligibility. Known ICANN subdomains are rejected with their registrable parent; private suffixes are not registration boundaries. For the full record use whois_lookup_domain.

  Fetch DNS records for a domain via DNS-over-HTTPS. Supports A, AAAA, MX, TXT, NS, CNAME, SOA, CAA, PTR. Multiple types are fetched in parallel. NXDOMAIN is returned as nxdomain: true in the result, not as an error — the terminal name does not exist; preceding alias answers are retained. NOERROR with no answers is empty data; DNS failure codes and truncated responses are errors after retries and fallback. TXT values are returned completely and rendered literally.

Partial results are surfaced when one leg fails (registration or DNS marked with source_error); only when both legs fail does the tool throw both_legs_failed.   Resolve an Autonomous System Number (ASN) to its org name, country, and RIR source via RIR RDAP. Accepts a decimal ASN from 1 to 4294967295 (e.g., "AS15169" or "15169"). Distinct from IP lookup — the entry point is the ASN itself, not an IP within its block.

  Look up a domain's registration record — registrar, created/expiry dates, nameservers, EPP status codes, provider DNSSEC evidence, and public registrant organization independently of contact redaction. Returns netblock, org, country, all provider CIDRs, abuse contact email, and reverse DNS (PTR) via DoH. PTR status distinguishes found, not_found, and failed with ptr_source_error. Alias traversal is limited to five transitions under one DNS deadline. The base address is queried for CIDR input.
