  • consentease_add_cookieAdd a cookie to a site

Manually add a cookie to a site's inventory (for cookies the scanner cannot auto-detect). Args: - id (string): The site id. - name (string): Cookie name, e.g. "_ga". - purpose (string): What the cookie does. - categoryId (string): A real cookie-category id belonging to THIS site. Call consentease_list_categories first and use an id from its data array. The compliance report contains counts, not category IDs. A categoryId from another site is rejected. - provider (string, optional): e.g. "Google Analytics". - expiry (string, optional): e.g. "2 years", "Session". - type ("first-pa…

  • consentease_check_installationCheck a site's ConsentEase installationread-only

Verify the live ConsentEase installation on a site's homepage, like a first-time visitor who has not clicked the banner. Run it after placing the snippet from consentease_setup_site and publishing the website. Takes up to ~25 seconds. Args: - id (string): The site id (siteId from consentease_setup_site). Checks (20 points each, setupScore 0–100): - snippet_in_head: the ConsentEase script for this site is in <head>. - snippet_before_gtm: Consent Mode defaults are set before Google Tag Manager / gtag. - consent_mode_defaults: all 7 Google Consent Mode v2 defaults are set (6 denied, sec…

  • consentease_create_siteCreate a ConsentEase site

Register a new website. This provisions the consent banner: it creates the site, a default banner configuration, default cookie categories, and kicks off a background cookie scan. There is no website limit per plan; billing is per website. Args: - domain (string): The bare domain with no protocol and no "www" (e.g. "example.com"). It is normalized server-side. Returns JSON: the created Site object. publicId, status, and ownership are assigned by the server and cannot be set by the caller. Prefer consentease_setup_site for onboarding: it is idempotent and returns the snippet in one call. A…

  • consentease_get_compliance_reportGet a site's compliance snapshotread-only

Return an operational snapshot of a site derived from real scan, cookie, and banner state. Args: - id (string): The site id. Returns JSON: { websiteId, domain, status, lastScan, bannerConfigured, scan:{cookiesFound, scriptsFound}, cookies:{total}, categories:{total, enabled}, warnings:string[] }. scriptsFound is null: not measured in the stored website snapshot. Warning codes: scan_zero_with_inventory = last scan found zero but auto-detected inventory remains, possible scan failure, rescan recommended (not proof of failure); scan_stale = lastScan older than 30 days; never_scanned = lastScan …

  • consentease_get_consent_statsGet consent statisticsread-only

Read aggregate consent statistics for one site and an explicit local-calendar date range. Thin wrapper over GET /api/v1/sites/:id/consent-stats; requires sites:read. from and to are required real YYYY-MM-DD dates; to is inclusive, maximum 366 calendar days. tz is a valid IANA zone, default Europe/Brussels. Local midnights and grouping honor DST, including 23/25-hour days. Definitions: impressions = banner_shown; accepts = accept; rejects = reject; customs = preferences_saved; dismissals = banner_dismissed. Accept, reject, custom and dismissal are exclusive outcome event types. Dismissal mean…

  • consentease_get_embed_snippetGet a site's embed snippetread-only

Return the copy-paste install snippet and script URL for a site's consent banner. Args: - id (string): The site id. Returns JSON: { "publicId", "scriptUrl", "snippet" }. Place "snippet" in the site's <head>, before Google Tag Manager / gtag, so consent defaults are set before tags load. Requires scope: sites:read.

  • consentease_get_siteGet a ConsentEase siteread-only

Fetch a single website by id, including its status, scan counts, and public id. Args: - id (string): The site id. Returns JSON: a Site object. scriptsFound is null (not measured in the stored website snapshot). pending means awaiting a completed scan; scanning means in progress; compliant means the scan completed successfully, not legal compliance; attention means scan failure or review needed. Returns a not_found error if the site does not exist or your key cannot access it. Requires scope: sites:read.

  • consentease_list_categoriesList a site's cookie categoriesread-only

List the real cookie categories belonging to a site. Use this before consentease_add_cookie to obtain a categoryId; never guess category IDs. Args: - id (string): The site id. Returns JSON: { "data": [{ "id", "name", "displayName", "isRequired", "isEnabled" }] }. Another account's site is hidden with not_found. Requires scope: sites:read.

  • consentease_list_cookiesList a site's cookiesread-only

List the cookie inventory for a site. Cursor-paginated, newest first. Args: - id (string): The site id. - limit (number, optional): Page size, 1–100 (default 20 on the server). - cursor (string, optional): Opaque cursor from a previous page's "nextCursor". Returns JSON: { "data": Cookie[], "nextCursor": string | null }. Each cookie has name, provider, purpose, expiry, type, categoryId, and isAutoDetected. Requires scope: sites:read.

  • consentease_list_sitesList ConsentEase sitesread-only

List every website you can manage in ConsentEase (your own sites, plus — for agency accounts — your clients' sites). Cursor-paginated, newest first. Args: - limit (number, optional): Page size, 1–100 (default 20 on the server). - cursor (string, optional): Opaque cursor from a previous page's "nextCursor". - domain (string, optional): Exact domain match, normalized like create_site (protocol/www/path removed, lowercase). - status (string, optional): pending, scanning, compliant or attention. Filters apply before cursor pagination; keep the same filters on every page. Returns JSON: { …

  • consentease_scan_siteRescan a ConsentEase site for cookies

Trigger a background cookie rescan of a site. Scanning detects and classifies cookies/scripts and updates the inventory. The server enforces a limit of 20 scans per day per user, independent of plan. Args: - id (string): The site id. Returns JSON: { "status": "scanning" } (HTTP 202). Poll consentease_get_site or consentease_get_compliance_report to observe when the scan finishes. Returns rate_limited if the daily scan limit is reached. Requires scope: sites:scan.

  • consentease_setup_siteSet up ConsentEase on a website

Start here to install ConsentEase on a website. One idempotent call: creates the site (banner configuration, default cookie categories, first cookie scan) or, when you already have a site for the same normalized domain, returns that existing site. Calling it again never creates a duplicate. Getting started: 1. consentease_setup_site with the domain → returns the real install snippet for this site. 2. Place "snippet" in the <head> of every page, as high as possible and above Google Tag Manager / gtag, then publish the website. 3. consentease_check_installation with the returned siteId → …
