  • repo_check

    Run a focused public test/build command in the offline task Linux image. No hidden tests. Failed checks include deduplicated diagnostics and source locations. Use returned evidence-summary and evidence-lines commands for precise log drilldown; original evidence pages remain available. Summaries are not completeness proofs.

  • sem_callers

    Every call/reference site of a named entity — cheap, index-backed; use before renaming or changing a signature.

  • sem_cochange

    Entities that tend to change alongside a named entity in commit history — surfaces hidden coupling sem's dependency graph can't see.

  • sem_code

    Run a short JavaScript program against the `sem` API (see system prompt types) to search, read, analyze and edit code in ONE call; return what you need.

  • sem_find

    Find where named entities are defined (exact, case-sensitive, index-backed, <10ms). Pass queries=[...] to batch several lookups in one call.

  • sem_graph

    Dependency-graph neighborhood around one or more entities — blast radius (direction=in) or dependencies (direction=out), N hops.

  • sem_grep

    Search repo text (trigram-indexed): file:line hits for call sites, string literals, log/error messages. Regex, or literal=true for code. patterns=[...] batches.

  • sem_hotspots

    Entities that change most often, from recent commit history — a cheap signal for where risk/churn concentrates.

  • sem_outline

    Sized, nested outline of a file's entities (functions/classes/headings/sections), with line ranges and ~token sizes. Filter with text=, cap with depth=.

  • sem_path

    Shortest directed call chain from a to b, e.g. A -> B -> C, or 'no path within N hops'. direction: out (default) | in | any (undirected, opt-in).

  • sem_read

    Read one entity by name (file optional; auto-locates it). mode=headers for just the signature. entities=[...] batches several reads.

  • weave_edit

    Edit one function/class/method (replace/insert/delete). Verifies the file still parses, rolling back if not. edits=[...] batches several.

  • write

    Description is built at runtime.
