About

Wayland is a local desktop app that runs an agent of its own and also drives Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Qwen, Goose and other CLIs from one place. Its Cowork mode lets a manager assemble specialist agents that work against a shared blackboard on multi-step jobs, while you set the goal. It runs on your own keys, files and shell, and the app and engine are free and open source under AGPL-3.0, with the engine written in Rust.

Use cases: coding, writing, agent-orchestration, code-generation
