About

tmux-ide is an open-source front end for tmux that lists coding agents across local and SSH machines and shows whether each one is working, blocked, done or idle. It sends notifications when an agent is blocked or done, and restores sessions after a tmux crash or reboot. Agents run in tmux panes and keep running if tmux-ide closes, and the tool offers scripting commands, MCP access and an SDK. It runs on macOS and glibc Linux, and the installer bundles Node.js and tmux.

Use cases: coding, agent-orchestration, monitoring-observability
