About
The Pair is a free, open-source desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux that runs two AI coding agents. A read-only Mentor plans and reviews, an Executor writes code and runs commands, and each checks the other's work before changes reach your codebase. It is model-agnostic and works with provider CLIs such as opencode, Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, Kimi Code, Pi, Kiro, Aider, Grok Build and Muse Code, plus local models through Ollama. The project is Apache 2.0 licensed.
