About
Plandex is a terminal tool that plans and executes coding tasks spanning many steps and files, with up to 2M tokens of context and project maps built with tree-sitter. Changes stay in a cumulative diff sandbox until you apply them, and command execution can be rolled back. Autonomy is configurable from fully automatic to step-by-step review, and it automatically debugs builds, tests and scripts. The README also links a local self-hosted mode quickstart.
Use cases: coding, code-generation, debugging
