About
Open Interpreter is a coding agent for the terminal that emulates the agent harnesses which get the best results from low-cost models, switchable with a /harness command. It is a fork of OpenAI's Codex, speaks the Codex exec protocol, and can be launched from ACP-compatible editors. It reads AGENTS.md and shared agent skills directories, supports MCP, runs commands in native sandboxing on macOS, Linux and Windows, and ships a QA skill that can drive web and native apps.
Use cases: coding, testing, code-generation
