About

Open Duet is an open-source workspace for creating named AI agents, each with its own job, instructions, memory and workspace, and for chatting with them over time. A lead agent can delegate work to specialist agents, and routines can run on a schedule, when another service triggers them, or on demand. Engines can be Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Cursor, ACP-compatible agents, OpenRouter or OpenAI-compatible endpoints such as Ollama. It runs as a desktop app or on a server the user controls, and the user supplies the provider accounts or API keys.
