About

Nanocoder is an open coding agent for the terminal, built by a community collective and designed to run with the user's own model. It works with local models through Ollama and with any OpenAI-compatible API, including OpenRouter, Requesty, Anthropic and Google, and the user chooses which provider receives the code. Its CLI supports non-interactive run commands, modes such as plan and architect, review of a branch or pull request, and an isolated worktree for a PR. The README says the project has no closed-source features and no paid tiers.

Use cases: coding, code-review, code-generation
