About

nanobot is a small, self-hosted personal AI agent framework written in Python. It runs in a browser WebUI or terminal and connects to channels including Telegram, Discord, Slack, WeChat, Email, Mattermost and Linear. It reads PDF, Word, Excel and PowerPoint files, uses shell, web search and MCP tools, keeps long-term memory, and runs scheduled automations. A Python SDK and an OpenAI-compatible API are available, and it works with OpenAI-compatible providers or local model servers.

Use cases: personal-assistant, scheduling, workflow-automation, team-chat, agent-memory
