About

Mistral Vibe is a command-line coding assistant that uses Mistral's models to read, modify and explore a project, with built-in tools for file editing, search, shell commands, a todo list and subagents. It adds project context such as the Git branch and recent commits, supports skills and MCP server configuration, and is set up through a config.toml file. Tool execution requires approval, and the ask profile requires approval for every tool call. The Mistral product page describes Vibe as an agent for longer tasks with Free, Pro and Team tiers.
