About
Metis is an MIT-licensed coding agent that runs as a desktop app, a terminal CLI, or a Skill installed into Codex, OpenCode or DeepSeek Harness. Planning, coding, code review and testing are each handled by a different role, and the workflow is an editable graph stored per project in .metis/harness.json. It chooses one of five task tiers on its own and drafts commit messages. The README says it builds on the pi project.
Use cases: coding, code-review, testing, code-generation
