About
Lime is an open-source AI agent available as an Electron desktop app and as a CLI/TUI. It edits files, runs terminal commands and calls tools within granted permissions, and it can use MCP servers and Skills. Work is organised as threads, turns and artifacts so a task can be paused, reviewed, restored and continued. Users choose providers and models per task, and multi-agent collaboration is supported.
Use cases: coding, research, writing, code-generation, deep-research, writing-editing
