About

Hive provides a browser workbench where an orchestrator agent plans and delegates work to worker agents, all running as real terminal processes on the laptop. Workers implement, review, test and report back through a team command and share a markdown task graph in the workspace. It runs on 127.0.0.1, installs with npm, and needs Node.js 22.18 or later and at least one supported agent CLI on the PATH.

Use cases: coding, research, writing, agent-orchestration, code-generation
