About

Hermes Agent, built by Nous Research, is an open-source agent with a learning loop: it creates skills after complex tasks, improves them during use, keeps curated memory and searches past conversations. It has a terminal interface and a desktop app, and a single gateway connects it to Telegram, Discord, Slack, WhatsApp and Signal. Scheduled jobs run unattended in natural language, subagents handle parallel work, and it can run locally, in Docker, over SSH or on Modal, Daytona or Vercel Sandbox. Any model can be used, including Nous Portal, OpenRouter and OpenAI.

Use cases: personal-assistant, other, agent-memory, workflow-automation, team-chat
