About

Gemini CLI is Google's open-source agent that gives direct access to Gemini models from the terminal. It can query and edit large codebases, generate apps from images or PDFs, and run non-interactively in scripts. It connects to extra tools through MCP servers. The README says it was replaced by Antigravity CLI for unpaid-tier and Google One users on 18 June 2026.
