About
Dao Code (command dao) is a terminal coding assistant built for DeepSeek V4 with a 1M-token context, and it reads, writes, runs commands and fixes bugs behind an approval gate. It keeps the system prompt and tool table byte-stable so DeepSeek's prefix cache stays warm, and runs memory and reflection as forks of the main prefix. It supports Skills, MCP and Hooks.
Use cases: coding, code-generation, debugging
