About

Cline is an open-source coding agent that can read and write files, run terminal commands and use a browser. It is offered as a VS Code extension, a JetBrains plugin, a CLI, a desktop app and an SDK built on the same agent core. A Plan mode lays out a strategy and an Act mode carries it out, with each step approved unless auto-approve is turned on. Users can choose their own model or bring an API key.
