About
AlphaCode is a terminal coding agent built in Rust. It reads a codebase, edits files, runs commands and tests, checks its own work, and can automate Firefox and desktop applications. It supports multi-agent swarm mode and MCP, and works with Claude, GPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, OpenRouter and local models such as Ollama and LM Studio, with a built-in free model that needs no API key. Install scripts are provided for macOS, Linux and Windows.
Use cases: coding, testing, browser-automation, code-generation
